Upgrade your brain matter…. because one day it may matter….
Josh Gard, otherwise known as Figure, never seems to let us down: when we are in the mood for dubstep to destroy our minds. The STM actually got to see Gard going hard on the decks at the House of Blues last Sunday. His music is just so heavy, sometimes it can almost be too much to handle. Mixing in one of Del the Funky Homosapien‘s greatest hits “Upgrade” Figure perfectly adds in a combination of grime and filth to upgrade the jam. Most know Del the Funky Homosapien as Deltron 3030; he has been tearing up the underground music industry for decades and considered a master amongst underground hip-hip fanatics. I doubt Del will be upset when he hears this banger blasting out of someones speakers.
Get ready for this one guys…
Oh Caspa, you sneaky devil you. When I first threw this song on I assumed Caspa was throwing down on original jam just for shits and giggles, until I noticed it is a 7 minute and 30 second long song, which lead me to believe there was no way it was strictly hip-hop. This sampler takes the approach of multiple genres which shows Caspa’s true talent and genius. Being one of the found fathers of dubstep for me, in the beginning of it all, Caspa has never disappointed. Everyone who knows dubstep, is fully aware of the name Caspa. From his exclusive bangers such as ‘Where’s My Money’ and ‘ Cockney Thug’ to this slightly mellowed out sampler, Caspa, also known as Gary McCann, continues to producers masterpieces and stay on top of the music game.
Uh oh R.L. Grime just released this heavy track a few minutes ago via FaceBook and let me tell you it is heavy. The way the bass surrounds your body and shakes your ears is amazing. R.L. Grime goes in on Rihanna’s ‘Pour It Up’ setting the tone of the song early with a lethargically and creates a dope intro. The anticipation for the drop was killing me as I heard it for the first time so please take a minute to scope this ill track produced by R.L. Grime. Go like his FaceBook for hooking it up with a FREE DOWNLOAD…I mean it’s the least you could do for free music! Pour up & Enjoy!!!
EDIT: Rihanna isn’t too happy about the success of Trap and in her retaliation has taken down the song. She must not like 808′s and Snares… Or perhaps its the fact that this song is much more of a guaranteed hit than the original…
STM does not endorse these actions but here is the song in case you really want it Thanks FISTSINTHEAIR!
A remix to such a classic. Who though Jack Beats could get any better!? After leaving the crowd starstruck at their set at Day of the Dead with all sorts of new material: trap, and dubstep, it isn’t a surprise there is a trap remix out to this old jam! Get DOWN! It starts off exactly the same as the original but the drop gives you a little surprise. Gold Top Trapshi is straight out of the UK, just getting on his game. Make sure to check out his Facebook!
Like our’s too!
Never thought STM would be posting Levels, but YES! It’s finally here…well you’re only a few days late. Can’t seem to find very much information on Plastic People other than the fact that they are “Certified Riot Starters!” This remix to levels is exactly what it needs to be to get on our good side. Enjoy!
“Emoh (AKA ‘Emoh Instead’) Performing under; the ground-breaking What So Not, the unstoppable Fake Bratpack, & the bootlegging/genre bending Emoh Instead, his sets are Renowned as some of the best in the business
The go-to-guy for international supports; Diplo, Justice & the like, copping big wraps from local heavies; Ajax, Ember & Peking Duk, his elusive bootlegs & Edits have been getting dropped by DJ’s around the globe.
Receiving attention from international big guns Tiga, Nero, Flosstradamus, Diplo, Baauer & more, his collab project with Flume (‘What So Not’) has been making waves the world over.” – Check out his Facebook
It was bound to happen, a Trap remix to “Thrift Shop.” Although still debatably not as good as the original, Emoh, coming straight out of Austrialia, absolutely kills this remix. Get trappy with it!
Enjoy the FREE DOWNLOAD!
