Butch Clancy – Ratchet Anthem
As Christmas day comes to an end, we are seeing the tail end of the free tracks or “presents” being dropped and this one has especially caught my ear from the get-go. From massive 808′s to the “make it nasty” sample, Scott Pitcock, better known as Butch Clancy to anyone who listens to good Dubstep, takes his original Hip-hop and heavy Dubstep roots and infuses them into the Trap music he makes today. Butch Clancy’s repertoire includes huge tracks such as Russian Lullaby and Diamonds are Forever which are known for obliterating sets and melting faces with massive bass. Only 26 years old, Clancy continues to amaze us here at Snap The Mole as he makes his mark on EDM world and becoming a household name. This one goes out to all the Trapaholics out there enjoying this relaxing Christmas day. $yrup dropped this twenty minute mix yesterday and after simply scoping the track-list I was sold. This mix includes remixes from some big names you may know such as Mayhem & Antiserum, Ookay, heRobust, who will be playing at Lights All Night on New Years eve and of course sick remixes from $yrup himself. It starts out with a remix to Rihanna’s ‘Pour It Up” which is sketchy seeing as Rihanna made sure to take down and erase RL Grime’s remix to her song on SoundCloud, Facebook and anywhere else it was posted. Overall, this is a solid mix with nothing but hot Trap jams that are going off right now so if you want to get up to speed, give it a listen and you will not be disappointed whatsoever. Zeds Dead – Holiday Mix
Every time Zeds Dead releases a track, you can be sure to find it on this website. This isn’t a track though, its a Merry Fucking Christmas from Zeds Dead. Starting Christmas off right with “The Living Dead,” and then dropping it HARD, these guys clearly know what they are doing. The STM team has been fortunate enough to see Zeds Dead many times over the past few years, but we still have yet to see them in their home country of Canada! I honestly cant even imagine what it must be like being surrounded entirely by true Zed-Heads. Every time I have seen them, they always save the best for last to make sure they eliminate any non-believers. So, in other words, make sure you listen to this whole mix. Its 50 minutes of dubstep, trap, glitch, moomba…let’s be real Zeds Dead’s genre is impossible to define. Merry (early) Christmas snappers! Protohype and Carnage have been in the studio together recently, and have just released something called a “Festival Dub Remix.” We’ve heard of “Festival Trap” before… and its great. Expectations are high for this tune, as they should be. Carnage is still an up and coming Guatemalan DJ/Producer outta LA, and Protohype has been in the game for a little longer. They each bring different aspects to the table. This song is a mix of hip-hop, trap and heavy dubstep. What is this genere even called? Festival Dub, I guess… Not sure if its suiting. Let us know what you think of this Carnage Christmas Special.

Just in time for Christmas: PatrickReza, LA native, has released a holiday jam thats sure to bit a hit at the office christmas bash! Just kidding its filled with heavy BASS! Only 19 years old, this boy is younger than all of us here at STM. He is a heavy bass/dubstep producer thats only been in the game for a year. His fanbase has gone from 0 to 24,000 in 1 year…. He’s gonna have one hell of a Christmas this year, only leading into a better 2013!

They be on them Dabs son! The Trap-duo hailing from Phoenix, Arizona calling them self Trapzillas have brought us a preview of their new track called “Dabs.” As the only word listed under ‘Band Interests’ on Trapzilla’s FaceBook, “Dabs” is all about that oowee gooey wax they get down on and it definitely reflets in the music that they produce, which is great. The full song was set to release on Christmas day as a gift from the Trapzillas to their fans but they have decided to release it earlier than expected!
