Protohype & Init – How It Go (CLIP)

Only a preview, but it’s enough make us want more! Protohype, the LA native DJ/Producer, who’s real name is Max Hype, has just graced the world with a little preview to his newest tune. But he’s not alone on this one, him and Init have just blown my speakers. Wish I could find more info on Init, but with a name like that, google searches are to no avail. Anyway, this drumstep tune is Protohype’s new-new. So listen, enjoy, and crack that nob all the way up and rip it off!

Alex Clare: Diplo’s Achievement remixed by Clark Kent and Kid Ranger

AlexClare

Yeah, I know this is a couple months old, but dammit I can’t get it out of my head.  Diplo and Switch helped Alex Clare boost his way to Microsoft commercial stardom earlier this year ( I can still say that, we have a few days) and caused the little known British song writer, heralded by the likes of Major Lazer who produced his first album The Lateness of the Hour with Mike Spencer, to become a top forty kiddie pop dubstep artist.  One for the transitional crew, the forty year old, “I still like young music,” crowd.  Either way, Clark Kent (bastard is twenty years old) and Kid Ranger remix this bad boy and make it work well, they put the acid back into Disneyland.  Cheers, enjoy this one.

Celldweller – Tough Guy (Tim Ismag Remix)

celldweller-chap04-detail

Glitch-hop? What the fuck is glitch-hop? Glitch Hop is the type of music that incorporates glitchy effects like beat repeaters and sweeps.  It is the kind of music that makes your head start banging and ears start ringing come time for the drop.  Celldweller, is a Detroit-based musical project consisting of hybrid fusion of electronic rock combined with orchestral elements, created by multi-instrumentalist, producer, remixer, DJ and performer, Klayton.  This remix by Tim Ismag brings the core of what glitch hop sounds like to the surface and takes over this banger!  When you throw this one on, be sure to pump the volume on those speakers, and keep your head away from sharp objects as this song WILL cause some head banging.  If you didn’t know what glitch-hop was, now you know! Be sure to follow up on both of these DJ’s facebooks and soundclouds for any updates you didn’t already hear at SnaptheMole first!

Rihanna & Bloody Beetroots – 1, 2 Cake Cake Feat. Steve Aoki (Crizzly Remix)

crizzly

The heavy hitting, remix master Crizzly is back at it again with this ridiculous new banger. Taking Rihanna’s epic voice, backed up by Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki’s producing skills alone is bound to catch the attention of a lot of listener’s today. However, here at Snap The Mole, we prefer the filthy drops and bass-pounding masterpieces, which is exactly what Crizzly  has provided!  Big shout out to him for killing it track after track and putting on a live show that is unforgettable! Be sure to like him on his facebook for the FREE DOWNLOAD and  his SoundCloud, but constantly be checking back here for the newest tracks, just released!

Caspa – On It Feat. Mighty High Coup Sampler

Oh Caspa, you sneaky devil you. When I first threw this song on I assumed Caspa was throwing down on original jam just for shits and giggles, until I noticed it is a 7 minute and 30 second long song, which lead me to believe there was no way it was strictly hip-hop.  This sampler takes the approach of multiple genres which shows Caspa’s true talent and genius.  Being one of the found fathers of dubstep for me, in the beginning of it all, Caspa has never disappointed.  Everyone who knows dubstep, is fully aware of the name Caspa.  From his exclusive bangers such as ‘Where’s My Money’ and ‘ Cockney Thug’ to this slightly mellowed out sampler, Caspa, also known as Gary McCann, continues to producers masterpieces and stay on top of the music game.
